Kathleen B. Deoul has emerged as one of America's leading advocates of alternative and complementary medicine. Her journey to success is a testament to the promise that is America.

After completing her education, Kathleen had a successful career managing medical offices. After reaching the pinnacle of her field, however, Kathleen realized that she was capable of more.

Applying the management and interpersonal skills learned in managing the complex responsibilities of a modern medical practice, she joined Exxon Offices Systems, rapidly becoming one of that company's top ten sales representatives. In recognition of her achievement, Exxon invited Kathleen to join its prestigious "President's Club."

It was not long before Exxon recognized her management skills as well, making her the firm's only female Branch Operations Manager. She was the only woman in the nation to be named to such a senior position.

Exxon's faith in Kathleen's management skills was well justified. In just twelve months, she improved her division's ranking from 55th in the nation to 5th!

Despite her success at Exxon, Kathleen's eventually realized she was an entrepreneur at heart. As a result, in 1983 she left the firm to open her own company, "Business Quarters," a firm that provided "turnkey" office space and administrative services to companies. Her clientele included Fortune 500 Corporations and international contracting firms doing business with the Department of Defense.

Over the next dozen years, Kathleen built a multi-million dollar operation that was among the most successful in the nation. In 1995, Kathleen sold her multi-million office suite business to embark on yet another entrepreneurial endeavor.

Becoming convinced through personal experience of the value of magnets as a therapeutic medium, Kathleen had begun marketing Nikken products in addition to operating her office suite business.

To Kathleen, however, magnets were more than just a business. She knew they held the potential to ease the suffering of millions of people who had been abandoned by conventional medicine. It was in essence a calling.

Kathleen founded her second company, Wellness Alternatives to help bring the message of this new and exciting medical breakthrough to the public. By 1999, Kathleen, a Nikken Diamond Distributor, was honored as the top Nikken distributor in the United States, by being chosen as Nikken's 1999 "Distributor of the Year."

Never one to rest on her laurels, Kathleen established her third company, Cassandra Books, a publishing firm specializing in wellness and complementary medicine in 2001. She writes a monthly newsletter for Cassandra, and has just published her first book, "Cancer Cover-Up."

Kathleen has been featured in such national publications as the Baltimore Sun and Network Marketing Lifestyles. She is also highlighted as a top achiever in the three top selling books, "Heart to Heart", "The New Entrepreneurs" and "Unstoppable Women".

Kathleen is a popular lecturer, crisscrossing the country to speak to groups about the benefits of complementary medicine, and especially magnets. She is listed in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the World, and Who's Who of American Women.

Kathleen lives in Baltimore, MD with her husband Neal, a physicist and their 15 year-old daughter Shannon.
